On October 10, HORIBA (HORIBA China Trading Co., Ltd.) successfully held the 2026 International Student Campus Recruitment Seminar in Room 301 on the third floor of the Welcome Center of HUST. The seminar attracted more than 100 international students from various departments.
At the beginning of the event, Dr. Huang Chao, Dean of the School of International Education, delivered a welcome speech. He extended a warm welcome to the HORIBA recruitment team and introduced the recent employment situation of international students in Chinese-funded enterprises. He encouraged international students to make full use of the platforms and resources provided by the university, actively participate in competitions and social practice activities, and improve their overall quality and employability.
Mr. Huan Hao, Chief Manager of the Energy and Industrial Process Business Unit of HORIBA, gave a systematic introduction to the development history, core technologies, and global business layout of the HORIBA Group. He stated that, relying on 70 years of technological accumulation and innovation in the fields of analysis, measurement, and engineering development services, HORIBA provides professional technical support and comprehensive solutions for China’s automotive electrification and intelligent technology innovation, as well as energy development and environmental protection, contributing to China’s energy transformation.

Dr. Franck Dhalenne, R&D Department Manager of Materials and Life Sciences Business Unit at HORIBA, introduced the company’s localization strategy of “In China, For China” and its corporate culture of “Joy & Fun.” He emphasized that HORIBA firmly believes that young talents are the future of industrial innovation and warmly welcomed the international students present to join the HORIBA family.

MD RISAT ABDULLAH, a 2024 master’s student at the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy,shared his internship experience at HORIBA. He said that beyond technical growth, team activities and mentor guidance made his internship a “joyful and deep learning experience.”
During the interactive session, international students actively asked questions about recruitment positions, and the HORIBA team patiently answered them. The attending students highly praised the seminar and expressed their hope for more similar events in the future.
